Although not new, the world has recently seen a dramatic rise in the occurrence of harmful incidents fueled by antisemitism, racism, and bigotry. These forms of hate threaten long-standing coalitions and relationships and are at the heart of White Nationalism and fascism, posing a very real threat to the wellbeing of children, families, societies, and democracies everywhere.
In 2022 the U.S. saw a record-high number of antisemitic incidents. Since the October 7, 2023 terrorist attack:

Rooted in tenets of Jewish teaching, IHF’s Jewish Values program focuses on fighting antisemitism, racism, and bigotry; bridging connections between diverse groups; and advancing social justice and equity through an intersectional Jewish lens to create more vibrant, humane, and inclusive communities in the U.S. and Israel. In Israel, we also fund IHF-initiated early childhood and child trauma training programs and a small number of pro-democracy organizations.
